WORKSHOP SPEAKER

Volunteer as a workshop speaker to teach a new skill to our fellows this year! Our fellows participate in workshops covering both soft and hard skills. If you’re looking for a way to both give back and work on your presentation skills, take the initiative and be a workshop speaker!

REQUIREMENTS

    • Must be working a full-time job in a business and/or technology role
    • Must be a college graduate with at least 1 year of full-time experience
    • Must have extensive knowledge on the topic of their choosing
    • Must be available to attend a Saturday afternoon workshop

EXPECTATIONS

    • Conduct an informative workshop for 36 fellows to help them build a foundational soft/hard skill
    • Prepare a well-thought-out presentation for 36 fellows to ensure adequate learning
    • Ensure each fellow receives adequate attention throughout the workshop to prevent learning gaps
    • Respond to communications from the DI management team in a timely manner

DI FELLOW

Provide one-on-one career coaching for our Fellows.

MENTOR

Do you ever wish you could go back in time to tell your younger self in college to avoid making certain decisions? We provide you a similar opportunity, but instead of helping your younger self, you’d be helping a current college freshman/sophomore student.

Mentors serve as resources for our fellows to tap into for advice and career support.

REQUIREMENTS

    • Must be working a full-time job in a business and/or technology role
    • Must be a college graduate with at least 1 year of full-time experience
    • Must have availability to virtually meet with fellow once a month
    • Must be available to attend virtual bondings with fellows and mentors

EXPECTATIONS

    • Stay in touch with your fellow once a month via online meetings for active engagement
    • Provide support to your fellow by ensuring fellows work towards completing their SMART goals
    • Help your fellow apply to internship and company insight opportunities for early career exposure
    • Respond to communications from the DI management team in a timely manner
